Ketchup & Taco Sauce!

March 22, 2010

Hey there beautiful people! I hope everyone who attended Fitbloggin’ 10 had a fantastic time in my hometown (city?) of Baltimore! After seeing all the awesome photos, I will definitely be signing up next year.

I have some catching up to do…

I seem to be running a day (or two!) behind

Friday’s(!) breakfast – egg whites, orange bell pepper, bellas, & spinach

I totally put taco sauce on this AFTER I took the picture. Busted.

Interesting… there are no photos between Friday’s breakfast & Saturday’s breakfast. This is odd. I wonder what I ate? I bet you it involved taco sauce.

New-to-me Larabar – Tropical Fruit Tart & a tangelo

I did not love this Larabar flavor. It was good at first bite, and then, it disappointed me with an overwhelming citrus flavor. But I ate it, and it filled my tummy. Win, win.

I destroyed this mango and it was amazing. I want another one right now.

And last but not least, last night’s dinner featuring Normandy & stirfry veggies, sprouted brown rice, spinach, basil, braggs, & nooch! It was ugly, but it tasted just fine. I don’t remember being overly impressed with it though.

Tonight’s dinner was one hundred times better, but it’s almost my bed time (9:00 pm) & tomorrow’s my first day of teaching, so you’ll just have to wait. I’ll play even more ‘ketchup’ tomorrow.

Night bloggie girls and boys!

Oh no, I love that tropical fruit bar. I usually like the “sweet ones” like the cookie flavors and stuff but I was really surprised when I liked this one. It make senses though because I am obsessed with all tropical fruits like coconut, papaya, mangoes, etc.

PS. All your meals/bowls have the BEST looking mix of things. I need to learn how to start throwing more random things together. My meals are too “safe” of mixes. I’m weird but I like to eat my food all separated so maybe that’s why I haven’t put everything in a bowl like all your goods.

    • I used to never mix foods! Growing up, my foods couldn’t even touch each other on the plate! And I ate each food one at a time, like if I started with my chicken (or other meat) I had to finish that before I moved on to the veggies or the starch.

I’m not sure when I let go of that aspect of my OCD, but I definitely have no issues mixing foods now. I guess when I started eating more salads, I got over the mixing issues.

I really like mixing my veggies, chicken, & (sometimes) rice because then nothing really tastes “plain”. I could never just eat plain rice, so if I mix it in with my veggies then I don’t have to season the rice, since the veggies are already seasoned. Make sense?

      Holy long reply!
